Proverbs 27:18,23,25-27

Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof. Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. The hay appeareth, and the tender grass showeth itself, and the herbs of the mountains are gathered. The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field. And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintanence for thy maidens.

  1. That is a beautiful picture. I have long liked these verses about being diligent to the know the state of your flocks. As I have been trying to get a milk goat for some time, I especially like the part about the goats’ milk for your maidens.
